Our Business, Company Structure, and Supply Chain

LBC Companies is dedicated to the development of innovative solutions. We are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or in any of our supply chains. Transparency is a key aspect of our approach to tackling modern slavery.

LBC Companies, based in the United Kingdom, operates as a business consultancy and professional services group. Our supply chain includes third-party service providers supporting our business through various services such as marketing, events, audit, accountancy, janitorial, IT, HR, legal, and company secretarial services. We also procure goods, including food and beverages, office furniture, and IT and telecommunication equipment.

Exposure to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Risk

With staff in the United Kingdom, our focus is on ensuring the right policies and procedures for our contractors and suppliers. Most of our support services are purchased within the UK from reputable businesses. Our staff, largely directly employed, are not in categories vulnerable to modern slavery in the UK, reducing our exposure to such risks.

Policies Related to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

LBC has adopted a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, reflecting our zero-tolerance stance. The policy aims to create awareness, ensure necessary diligence in interactions with suppliers, and prevent the occurrence of modern slavery. All employees responsible for purchasing goods or procuring services comply with the LBC Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Due Diligence and Mitigating Modern Slavery Risk

LBC exercises necessary diligence when purchasing from suppliers, especially those from high-risk countries. Suppliers are expected to be ethical, responsible, and fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The Modern Slavery Policy is integrated into supplier agreements, and non-conformant practices are addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Modern Slavery awareness is incorporated into our induction programs and employee handbook. We are committed to an open, transparent, and ethical culture, ensuring that our supply chain aligns with these values.
